fol - that thread is in the admin section- dan cannot see it
August 19, 2008, 09:03:59 PM
lol, stop giving me all the credit, its an old test version, with the FAME C core added to PSPUAE, its been on server for about a year, just figured it was to unstable to release. Maybe I should have stuck with it, seeing how much work ric put into merging it.
Plus delta says Savestates are working
August 19, 2008, 08:29:03 PM
my god, seems FOL is going berserk... just delivered the fastest PSPUAE ever and goes for it again- unbelievable! SmileySmileySmiley
August 19, 2008, 08:22:58 PM
It seems good, tried about 10 games and its faster and although menace has graphics glitches, sprite detection problem, the other games havn't crashed Smiley
August 19, 2008, 08:14:04 PM
right, it's invisible for me, but that really sounds exciting. Smiley Hope stability can be as good as in PSPUAE, seeing how unstable UAE4ALL is.
August 19, 2008, 08:01:02 PM
unless FOL has made it invisible to others, its FOL's idea to have uae4all emu with his pspuae menu's, I'm not great at explaining the amiga spec but I think it only runs 68000 cpu games, but faster than pspuae.
August 19, 2008, 07:54:48 PM
its on top of the recent posts on the right hand side of page Smiley
August 19, 2008, 07:45:19 PM

What's FAME C?
August 19, 2008, 07:08:36 PM
i love you blood-wych, and if it's quite alright, i need your blood bitch, to slay another knight.....
August 19, 2008, 06:29:48 PM

Hi all, what is that thing you're testing at the moment? just curious...
August 18, 2008, 07:56:44 PM
I'd just like to try my M3 real in your DS to see if it worked, if it did then surely its either your memory card,
M3 reals or user error install  lol although i doubt the later ;P
August 18, 2008, 07:33:50 PM
hmm.. once i send it i will have your address, so will be more than capable of making your life hell if you sell it!
August 18, 2008, 06:10:41 PM
so you have a NDS that plays a genuine cartridge game, a new M3 real cartridge and a 4gb sandisk SDHC Memory Card that wont work? maybe the DS is the problem. send it all to me
and i'll take a look or sell the lot and get a psp 3000 or slim Smiley

August 18, 2008, 01:44:13 PM
No, you have to install custom firmware before you can use any emulator on it.
August 18, 2008, 11:09:25 AM

August 17, 2008, 09:30:04 PM

August 17, 2008, 09:03:47 PM
just tested xenon with it  and it is very impressive, sound has good timing and a 65 -71 fps with cpu at a constant 100% something that is impossible to achieve with pspuae, I havn't managed it anyways! Sure will check this out because it didnt crash either! even more intrested now Wink

We have released a new version of PSPUAE (Amiga Emulator for PSP), changes / improvements are listed below.

V0.70 - FOL update

* Added alot of Rics FAMEC code and optimisations. (Gave some speed increase)
* Altered Hsync handler. (Removes slow down when sprites on screen, with CPU = MAX)
* Altered CPU CYCLE UNIT to 256 (Gave the most speed increase)
* Altered CHIPSET settings (To fall inline with CPU CYCLE UNIT change, its now a much more finer setting than in previous versions. Giving better results)
* Added Rics FAMEC Sound code (Still clicks, we know what the problem is, but i need help to solve it)
* Added Interpolation 4CH Sound under sound menu (This can improve sound slighty)
* Altered HEAP SIZE for available memory to PSPUAE (This solves all memory problems)
* Added Rics FAMEC FrameSkip Algorithm (This gives a finer smoother Auto FrameSkip)

Remember Read the README`s, I have readded the "options and what they are" section.

You can download it from our DOWNLOADS section

Downloading now. Tha
nks in adance for this guys! Grin

edit: Just had a quick test and the speed difference is very pleasing! Smiley

One problem I seem to be getting though is if I load one adf game that plays fine... but then if I come back to the options screen and load up a different adf, then reset the the amiga, when I go back to the game the screen position is now way off to the right hand side of the psp and i Don't seem to be able to move it back to the centre of the screen (not without rebooting pspuae)? I asume its related but the additional option of 'screen lock' appears in the PSP Display menu only once the screen has already moved off centre? ...maybe I'm just losing the plot though? lol

I'm loving the animated eboot with the cool at3 music!... top stuff! Smiley

Right back to testing my games. Smiley

SLAPS BABOON SILLY, I added "turn off auto zoom" on reset. You have to hold Left trigger + Right Trigger then press select. It was added last release to stop crashes with certain configs. Its in the release notes for last release and i believe the readme, Wink.

If I had a £ for every time this question pops up, Smiley, id be rich.

On a side note, nice to see our friendly banwidth stealers are in full force, Sad.

First of all: thanks!! Smiley

But: did anyone got giana sisters to work? it was working without modifications in configuration on 0.63. But on 0.7 it freezes where you choose betweeen one or two players.

But Silkworm is very good playable now, great!

All I can sugguest is check your configs, makesure you aint got a config overriding default settings. Other than that, you will have to alter settings, i.e. if DriveSpeed = Turbo, change it to Normal.

Both run fine, with auto frameskip and setting CPU speed to chipset (you need to find the value that suits you, i.e. 45% or 60% etc etc). I will have a look at what i set em to later.

EDIT:- Benefactor, Frameskip = Auto and Chipset = 65%, works nice. Superfrog, Frameskip = Auto and Chipset = 75%, works nice.

And after not working (like in 0.63)  I've tried all different kind of setting still no luck with giana sister. any idea if it might have something to do with the new code, FOL?

That is an odd 1 indeed, just tested you are correct. Its like its not accepting the left and right mouse button.

I cant see my code changes effecting only 1 game, lets be fair, i have tested countless all worked fine. I use alot of stuff with mouse input and all working fine.
